Be it resolved that the October 23, 2013 staff report on the request by Bell Aliant Regional Communications L.P. to install fibre optic cable on the Haliburton County Rail Trail Corridor from the intersection of Koshlong Lake Road to the intersection of County Road 1 in the Municipality of Dysart et al be received by Haliburton County Council and that the necessary authorizing bylaw be presented for approval.

Be it resolved that the October 23, 2013 staff report on the acquisition of lands to be added to County Road No. 11 be received by Haliburton County Council and that the necessary bylaw be presented for approval.

Be it resolved that the October 23, 2013 staff report on the County owned property located at 12410 Highway 35 in Minden Ontario be received for information by Haliburton County Council.

Be it resolved that the October, 2013 staff report on the Province of Ontario Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund be received by Haliburton County Council and that Haliburton County Council endorses the Expression of Interest to obtain funding under the Province of Ontario Small, Rural and Northern Municipal Infrastructure Fund to rehabilitate the Head Lake Bridge at a total project cost of $1,250,000 and further certifies - - the Expression of Interest is factually accurate; - the County will have a comprehensive asset management plan that includes all of the information and analysis described in Building Together: Guide for Municipal Asset Management Plans in place by December 31, 2013; - the comprehensive asset management plan will be publicly available including online on the County website by May 30, 2014; - the project put forward in this application will be completed by December 31, 2015.

Be it resolved that Haliburton County Council receive for information the following minutes and reports from External Boards and Agencies: The Minutes of the August 12, 2013 and August 18, 2013 meetings of the Eastern Ontario wardens Caucus; The draft minutes of the September 10, 2013 meeting of the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Professional Recruitment Committee and Draft Terms of Reference; The draft minutes of the October 7, 2013 meeting of the Haliburton County Library Board.

Be it resolved that the October 23, 2013 staff report on the County of Haliburton Land Division Committee's Severance Activity Report to September 30, 2013 be received for information by Haliburton County Council.

Be it resolved that the October 23, 2013 staff report on office hours over the Christmas/New Year’s Holiday period be received by Haliburton County Council and that the County Office be closed from noon on Tuesday December 24, 2013 and reopen on Thursday January 2, 2014.

Be it resolved that Bylaw 3581 being a bylaw to authorize the execution of Winter Road Maintenance Agreements with the Township of Algonquin Highlands, the Municipality of Dysart et al, the Municipality of Highlands East and the Township of Minden Hills be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed and the seal of the Corporation be affixed.

Be it resolved that Bylaw 3583 being a bylaw to authorize the acquisition of lands from Joseph Howard Longfield and Marilyn Joyce Longfield for the purposes of widening County Road No. 11 be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed and the seal of the Corporation be affixed.

Be it resolved that Bylaw 3584 being a bylaw to authorize the execution of a License of Occupation Agreement with Bell Aliant Regional Communications L.P. in order to install fibre optic cable on the Haliburton County Rail Trail Corridor be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed and the seal of the Corporation be affixed.

Be it resolved that Bylaw No. 3585 being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the October 23, 2013 meeting of Haliburton County Council be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed and the seal of the Corporation be affixed.
