Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 Haliburton County Council meeting agenda be approved.

Be it resolved that the minutes of the April 24, 2013 Regular Meeting and the May 8, 2013 Special Meeting of Haliburton County Council be adopted as circulated.

Be it resolved that the recommendations from the May 8, 2013 meeting of the Haliburton County Council Road Committee be adopted as circulated.

Be it resolved that the recommendations from the May 8, 2013 meeting of the Haliburton County Council Tourism Committee be adopted as circulated.

Be it resolved that the recommendations from the May 8, 2013 meeting of the Haliburton County Council Finance and Correspondence Committee be adopted as circulated.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 Planning Status Report be received for information by Haliburton County Council.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 staff report on the Final Report of the County of Haliburton Housing Strategy be received by Haliburton County Council and that the Final Report dated April 2013 be adopted.

Be it resolved that the Haliburton County Rail Trail Corridor Status Report dated May 22, 2013 be received for information by Haliburton County Council.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 staff report on the 2015 Ontario 55+ Winter Games be received by Haliburton County Council and that Sport Alliance of Ontario be advised that the 2015 Games will be held on February 17-19 2015.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 staff report on the 2015 Ontario 55+ Winter Games Organizing Committee received by Haliburton County Council and that the individuals identified in the report be appointed to the Games Organizing Committee.

Be it resolved that Haliburton county Council receives for information the following minutes and reports from External Boards and Agencies: Draft Minutes of the May 8, 2013 meeting of the Haliburton County Library Board.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 Year to Date Report and the May 13, 2013 Decisions of the Land Division Committee be received by Haliburton County Council for information.

Be it resolved that Haliburton County Council fully supports the Federal Minister of the Environment undertaking an arm's length review of the water management decisions taken by the Trent Severn Waterways staff Page 5 of 7 before, during and after recent floods along the Gull and Burnt Rivers as called for by Barry Devolin, M.P. Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock.

Be it resolved that the County Warden send a letter to the Premier of Ontario and to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing requesting: The Province find some way to assist the County of Haliburton and its local Municipalities with unexpected and unreasonable infrastructure damage costs incurred from the April 2013 flood event; and To support the call on Federal Minister of the Environment Kent to undertake an arm’s length review of the water management decisions taken by the Trent Severn Waterway staff before, during and after the recent floods along the Gull and Burnt Rivers.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 presentation by City of Kawartha Lakes Staff concerning Social Services and Housing Programmes be received for information by Haliburton County Council.

Be it resolved that Bylaw 3563 being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of the May 22, 2013 meeting of Haliburton County Council be considered read a first, second and third time and finally passed and the seal of the Corporation be affixed.

Be it resolved that the May 22, 2013 meeting of Haliburton County Council now adjourn.
